Vitiligo - vitiligo - Zimbio

These happen to be the small (2-5 mm) round shaped and smooth patches of dim color on the skin, which are at times called the vitiligo or white patches on the skin. These ilk of white patches normally take place on the skin that is more exposed to the sun like shins and the forearms. But the other parts of the body could as well be affected such as shoulders, chest and face. Such skin spots usually appear on the skin which is exposed more to the sun like shins and the forearms, but other parts of the body may also be affected like the chest, shoulders and the face. Usually these types of white patches on the skin happen to be smoother but gently flaking lesions might too be witnessed in few of the cases.
