The biggest sign of the skin disease ‘vitiligo’ is the loss of the pigment which produces the white patches (depigmentation) on the skin. There are certain other signs as well which include the early whitening and graying of the hair, eyelashes, eyebrows or beard. In addition to this, there are other signs too like losing of colors in tissues (like inside the mouth) and changing the color of human eye’s inner layer.
